The beloved Hot Wheels are immortalized in Forever stamps thanks to the United States Postal Service

Small they may be, but Hot Wheels can certainly be considered one of the biggest toys of all time. Their small shapes and colorful paintwork have been the favorite toy of boys – and many girls, too – ever since inventor Elliot Handler and his company Mattel introduced them to the public back in 1968. Even today Hot Wheels remain one of the hottest and most affordable of collectibles, especially with adult car enthusiasts who grew up wheeling them across the living room floor.
Several years ago, the United States Postal Service saw fit to honor these iconic American toys by immortalizing them as forever stamps. This 6.5×9-inch sheet features 20 of the most popular Hot Wheels ever made. And it’s still available at your local USPS post office.
